About Me

 

 

Hi my name is Nicky, I am an Ofsted registered funded childminder in Chivenor, Devon but can also cover Braunton and surrounding areas. I am fully insured through Pacey.

 

 

I have been a childminder since April 2001 caring for a wide age range of children from birth to 14 years.

 

 

I have two adult children of my own, who are fully DBS checked and make minded children feel very welcome. We have a pet cat called Tiggs.

 

 

I believe in providing good quality care in a safe, loving and clean environment where children can play and develop essential life skills in order to thrive, we have a safe secure rear enclosed garden for children to play in and explore.

 

 

I can collect children to and from Southmead Pre-School, Southmead Primary School, Braunton Academy and Chivenor Bright Start nursery and pre-school. Other schools may be available please enquire as to availability. I provide healthy snacks to all children.

 

 

My home is gas safety checked every year and my car and home insurance are all relevant to my child minding, so I am fully insured in all areas to care for children.

 

 

 

Services

 

 

My usual working hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday but I am happy to work outside of these hours by special arrangement, I am also registered to provide over night care.

 

 

I can provide care over night, school holidays and term time. I am also able to offer emergency care if required, so if your current child minder is unwell I may be able to help. 

 

 

 

 

I can provide meals at an additional cost, breakfast, lunch and tea is all available. Fresh fruit, milk, water or juice can be provided at snack time.

 

 

My fees include the following provisions:-

 

 

• 2 x healthy snacks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon)
• All drinks, water, juice, tea, coffee, hot chocolate (depending on the age of the child)
• Admission to any regular activities such as toddler groups
• All resources and activities

 

I can provide meals on request and at an additional cost but do encourage parents to bring children with a packed lunch as this way the parent knows what their child is eating and how much, it also makes things a little easier if we are out and about at lunch times.
